I have a love / hate relationship with instagram (and with all social media really).

However, today I love it.  I love it because I met a truly amazing woman through instagram.  I “met” Sarah earlier this year after she started her business, The Vintage Lease.  Then I actually met her (in real life) a few months later at the Piedmont Pop-up shop.  I helped designed her business cards and brochures and she was one of the amazing vendors at my wedding.

An above and beyond kind of vendor – she provided vintage china, goblets and dessert plates that she hand picked over the years.

As most weddings do, we had a hiccup and it rained all day long.  Our outside wedding moved inside, which meant we couldn’t set up the reception area until after the ceremony.  That left Sarah (and some of my other helpers) with only happy hour to style and set up all the dinner tables and she killed it.

I could go on and on about how amazing Sarah was during the planning process of my wedding (and during the wedding itself) but what I’m really pumped about is our growing friendship outside all that.  She’s someone I can dream with and learn with. She’s reliable and passionate and thoughtful and all things I love in a friend and someone I do business with.

Sarah is beyond lovely, and her family is an extension of that. We took some family photos in my neck of the woods to take advantage of all the gorgeous fall colors.  Sarah brought one of her rental couches and I died.

The colors were stunning, the lighting was perfect, I could feel the love this family shares for eachother and I hope you can see it in these photos as well.

I loved capturing these moments for Sarah and her family.

If you have an event you want to take to the next level, give The Vintage Lease a look, you won’t be disappointed.
